TUSKER PROJECT FAME

Sunday 31st October 2010
This is Duets Sunday, this means that the contestants performances are going to be in pairs. However they will be judged individually.
There is very good use of panning as two contestants Steve from Kenya and Palek from Sudan are performing. The camera man does not stop here but he goes on to zoom in  to the individual contestant and shows us a wonderful close-up shot. An extreme close up shot shows us how flat Palek’s facial expressions are yet she is singing a beautiful love song.
There is also evidence of use of mounted cameras on cranes as there is appoint the viewer is able to see an aerial view of the entire audience and the judges. The mounted camera zooms to the judges for their comments then to the audience who are now rowdy because Judge Ian said that Leah and Gabiro massacred a song after they had given an awesome performance.
Two men were unfortunately caught on camera dragging dolling and lighting equipment. They passed right in front of the camera that was focusing on the judges. This happened twice think the person at the switcher was not keen enough.
