True story experience!!!!

24th Thursday
The first time i entered the place had less cussions than i expected so i had to sit on the cold uncomfortable floor for th enext 'i have no idea' hours. then i noticed the beautiful set up they had, it was awesome i took some photos i hope to upload them soon. the deco personell deserves an award. then the camera positioning was well done too.there were 2 cameras, one focusing on the host the other on the guest and they were positioned on the left and right angle. The 3rd camera was in the middle which took both the host and the guest.The cameras used a condenser mic which i guess was omnidirectional because it picked up sound from the host and the guest and also from the audience clapping, laughing and cheering. There were two hosts that was Lotan and ashley. Before the show started there were some few perfomances from Daystar students and there was poor mic handling at some point. But i also thought since it was a dynamic omnidirectional mic covering the rest of the areas picking sound and placing it almost close to his mouth woul only pick his voice and it sounded good..ok thats my point of view guys :) The lighting..ok..it was good..i liked the gel papers they used to bring out the blue and green feeling though not too much of it..but the shadows were so well established on the seats, on the floor..the key light was there but it was facing the ceiling sorry guys..the bacl light was there..but shadows SHADOWS!!!!!the show was finally on..and oh..Kush was the floor manager..and i thought he should be fired hahahaha coz he was not concentrating..when we were to clap he wasnt telling us and the director looked frustrated at some point..i wish they would have had intercoms to keep reminding him. Ashley looked radiant on the stage and i noticed there was no script for the show but they knew how it should go and somehow she knew what to say..We took several takes for this show to happen..i also noticed that ash didnt get to know one of the hosts well and assumed he was something which he corrected during the show and she apologised..i thought that was good she did that. i thought ash is a great interviewer but she kept figiting with her neclace that was close to her lavalier mic which produced these knocking sounds like "poof". one of the guests also sat in a bad position and the lavalier mic could not pic up his voice and to make it worse he was speaking in a low tone. the director tried to signal him to lay back and relax so the mic could do its job. the make up artist was doing her job well during a long break..powdering the guest and the host. oh yeah we were also told to put our phones on "swith off" hahaha well i did..the reason was they might interfere with the cameras. the invited guests perfomed for us and we enjoyed it. perfomances from labo with the percussions, holy dave with his gospel beats and general mannaseh mathiang offered his cd's for free to the students. All in all i left there a bit bitter over personal issues but i love it coz i will be on national TV hahaha!!
