Eviction show

The show kicked off at 8.00pm as usual with the two presenters Sheila mwanyigah and Dr. Mitch looking steady and ready to bid one contestant goodbye. After two promos, all the contestants who were on probation ( Gabiro, Anette, Gaga and Gaelle) repeated their ‘old school perfomances’. According to the judges the four performances were termed as a slight improvement. However the teachers thought they were excellent.the highlight of the show was the eviction part where gaelle was voted in by the public, the other contestants voted gabiro. The teacher decided not to vote this time for because they wanted to create more seriousness within the contestants. So, gaga and anette were evicted.

LIGHTING

The three point lighting was executed. The problem was with the kill light, where shadows came coming in and out, there was also a mistake in the changing of the jells, as many were executed, but win a rather hurried state. However, this could be termed as creating a colourful mood by some people.

SOUND

There was clear sound throughout the show, microphones and all other effexts were well executed.

CAMERA MOVEMENTS

Good execution of panning and zooming was shown, especially when the performances were going on. There were many shots including wide shots, displaying all the audiences and judges through a bird’s eye view. There were also close ups, extreme close ups and over the shoulder angles. However during a zoom- in, the person at the foreground came closer to the camera and formed a blurred image which was quickly corrected by switching to another camera.
