CRITIQUE OF TPF
EVICTION SHOW
NOVEMBER 20, 2010
EVENTS
This is the show that saw Rwandese contestant Gabiro leave the academy. It all started with the tusker promotion, followed by announcements from the excellently dressed MCs. There was a spectacular display of colour as the four contestants on probation repeated their African tunes. Amelina was saved by the public, Paleki was then saved by the teachers and then the person with fewer votes, Gabiro was evicted. The noise from the fans screaming Gaelle must go’ filled the room, but the judgment was final. He sang his other African song, as he bid the other contestants tomorrow.
CAMERA MOVEMENTS
As the days go back, these live shows have been improving as far as camera shots and tactics are concerned. Close ups, over the shoulder, birds eye view.
LIGHTING
The lighting was okay, however, a few hitches were experienced, like blurred images, and bad effects from the cds decorating the stage. these were however corrected on time by switching the cameras.
SOUND
The show had good sound, with clear microphones and adequate speakers.
